12-Month sharpness Guarantee
Every pair of shears we sell holds its sharpness from the day it ships. If a pair dulls under normal use during that year, we replace it for free, once, no arguing about it.
How It Works
1. Order number — Find your order confirmation email. It's your proof of purchase and the guarantee's start date. No separate registration is required. if not found, you may reach out to us so we can look up your order via your email or phone number
2. Claim — Email us the order number and a quick note or photo. We'll send a replacement pair or a return label.
What's Covered
✓ Edge dulling from normal, intended-material cutting
✓ Loss of edge retention under regular daily use
✓ One free replacement per shear, per 12-month coverage period
✓ Manufacturing defects affecting the edge
What's Not Covered
✗ Cutting wire, staples, tags, or other non-intended material
✗ Damage from drops, prying, or twisting the blades
✗ Shears bought used, secondhand, or as clearance / final sale

How to File a Claim
Email mercury.instruments@gmail.com with your order number and a short note on what you've been cutting (a photo of the edge helps but isn't required). Most claims are approved within 24 hours. If a return is needed, we'll send a prepaid label.
